The Integra Ti™ micromanipulation workstation is the ultimate system for use in ART procedures. The easy
micropipette set-up and angle adjustment feature reduces procedure times which will help to optimise
results.
The Integra Ti™ micromanipulation workstation has been developed alongside leading IVF practitioners and
is compatible with all popular inverted microscopes.
- Fast
Unique rapid micropipette set-up and one-step angle adjustment- Accurate
Mechanical micromanipulators give precise movement without any lag. Superb range of oil and air syringes to choose from.- Integrated
Built-in mechanical XY stage with real-time movement. Choose from a metal or glass ITO heated insert, with the choice of air or oil syringes. Three heated stages operated by touch screen. Large stage surface, yet small workbench footprint.

RI’s exclusive mechanically-operated micromanipulators offer the most intuitive and precise positioning
available. Mechanical devices do not suffer from the delays that can be experienced with electronic
micromanipulators, or the loss of motion and drift common in hydraulic systems. Each Integra Ti™
micromanipulator offers coarse XY and fine XYZ control, is extremely reliable and requires minimal
maintenance.
The Integra Ti™ has advanced toolholders which provide a simple and rapid method for setting up micropipettes.
Using a special objective and spacer, micropipettes can be set up above the Petri dish and then lowered immediately to
the correct working position, preventing micropipette damage. The angle of the micropipette can also be
adjusted with a single control, whilst keeping the tip in focus and without having to reposition the micropipette.
Unique to the Integra Ti™, this feature allows the user to adjust the angle as required during a procedure without
the need to spend time realigning the micropipette.
Syringes
The Integra Ti™ includes two of our SAS air syringes as standard. Also available is the SAS-SE for superfine air
control or our SOS oil syringe with a quick fill feature to reduce set-up time.

The Saturn Active™ directional laser system has been designed to make laser drilling in IVF procedures easier, safer and quicker, benefiting both embryologists and embryos.
- Accurate
Highly accurate fixed position laser. Pilot beam to guarantee laser alignment- Safe
Optimum laser power for lowest laser pulse times. Exclusion Zone™ feature ensures cell safety- Easy to Use
Intuitive software package.- Rapid
Directional laser increases functionality and decreases procedure times.
Using cutting edge fibre optic, laser and robotic technology, the Saturn Active™ directional laser system offers superb accuracy, safety and speed for all laser assisted ART procedures. The red pilot beam ensures optimisation on each microscope. Only Saturn™ lasers have this feature which also guarantees the position of the ablation laser.

Applications
For Blastocyst Biopsy, the Saturn Active™ is unparalleled in its ease of use. The
directional laser allows the user to make multiple ablations across the
trophectoderm cells without needing to move the blastocyst. This gives the
user superb accuracy, safety and incredible speed. See “Breakthrough in
Blastocyst Biopsy Technique” on the opposite page for further information.
For Blastomere Biopsy and Blastocyst Collapsing (for vitrification), the Saturn
Active™ directional laser allows the embryo to stay in the desired position and
focus so that ablations can be made wherever required without additional
manipulation.
For Assisted Hatching, the directional laser means that precise ablations can be
made without the need to hold the embryo, making it very quick and accurate,
with no additional consumable costs.
Included with the Saturn Active™ laser system is
RI’s unique, user-friendly software, providing a
digital laser target, image and video recording.
The dedicated software allows the required hole
size to be selected prior to making ablations with
sub-micron accuracy. It also stores multiple
pre-set hole sizes for ease and speed of use and
automatically adjusts the laser pulse time
required to create the desired hole.
The software also provides an Exclusion Zone™
based on published medical research, which
indicates how close to critical cells the laser can
be fired.
The Saturn Active™ laser is a Class 1 laser product
as defined by international laser safety standards.
It is CE-marked and FDA cleared.
RI's expertise in optics and micromanipulation enables us to offer a carefully chosen package for Intracytoplasmic Morphologically-selected Sperm Injection (IMSI) which provides excellent image quality yet remains simple and practical for routine clinical use - without unnecessary expense.
- Fast
Uses 60x objective with larger field of view, resulting in much quicker procedure times.- Versatile
Suitable for use with all popular inverted microscopes and micromanipulation systems.- High Quality Images
Up to 7000x magnification with high contrast and high resolution.- Easy to Use
Intuitive software package.
The RI IMSI™ solution allows morphological screening of sperm cells at very high magnification and in real
time. Studies suggest that this can lead to higher pregnancy rates.
The RI IMSI™ package has been designed for quick and easy routine
clinical use, with the same microscope that is used for ICSI, thus
maximising the benefit of the technique. Unlike other systems, standard
plastic dishes can be used instead of glass dishes, removing the need to
transfer between dishes - saving time and money. Working with HMC®
optics, RI has developed a unique, highly sensitive optical system with a
60x objective and condenser - ensuring a high-resolution source image.
Our digital camera (the DC2) has been specifically designed for IMSI
imaging. The large sensor has high-sensitivity pixels for bright,
high-contrast images. The pixel count is a perfect match for the
resolution of the optics, and allows smooth video at 15 frames per
second. Practicality is assured by its compact size and easy USB
connection. Higher resolution cameras, offered on some systems,
actually result in poorer image quality due to less sensitive sensors and
poorer frame rates. We offer a top quality medical-grade monitor with superior colour depth and precision,
which is perfect for accurately reproducing the subtle details in
moving sperm images.
RI IMSI™ is supplied with imaging software that allows images
from the microscope to be stored for future reference. It also
features a video recorder so that procedures can be recorded for
quality control or training purposes. The digital zoom function
allows evaluation of sperm to be carried out at high
magnification.
